Turtles (Chocolate Caramel Drops)
24 soft caramels (about 7 oz), Kraft will work but homemade is better
2 Tbsp heavy cream
1 C (approximately) Pecan halves
4 oz semisweet chocolate, melted
Melt caramels and cream in the top of a double boiler until completely melted. Cool
Place Pecan halves on a greased cookie sheet (or parchment paper) in clusters of 3. Spoon caramel over nuts leaving the ends showing. Let stand until set, about 30 minutes.
Melt chocolate in top of double boiler. When completely melted, spread or pour over caramels.
