Tunnel of Fudge Cake
1 3/4 C Butter
1 3/4 C granulated Sugar
2 C Powdered Sugar
2 1/4 C Flour
3/4 C Cocoa
2 C Walnuts, chopped
3/4 C powdered sugar
1/4 C cocoa
1½ - 2 Tbsp milk
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flout a 10-12 Cup Bundt pan.
In a large bowl beat butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Ad eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually add powdered sugar, blend well.
By hand stir in remaining cake ingredients until well blended, Spoon batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350°F for 50-54 minutes.
Since this cake has a soft tunnel of fudge, ordinary doneness tests cannot be done. Accurate oven temperature and baking time are critical. Different ovens my require some variation in baking time.
Cool upright in pan on cooling rack for 1 hour, invert onto serving plate. Cool Completely.
Combine Glaze ingredients until well blended. Spoon over top of cake, allowing some to run down the sides.
