Pickled Peppers

 

Pack into each quart jar:

   Mixture of Peppers (example:  Anaheim, Serrano, Jalapeno, Hungarian Wax, Sweet Banana)

   If using whole peppers, cut slits in bottom of each .

 

   1/8 tsp alum   -  4 lg cloves garlic  -  2 Tbsp Dill Seed (Optional)

  

 Brine:

   1 C pickling salt  -  3 qts water  -  1 qt white vinegar

  

   Bring Brine to a boil, pour over peppers,

   Process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
