Lasagna

Layer 1:

12 Lasagna Noodles (uncooked, cooked or fresh. It doesn't matter)


Layer 2:

Mix together

2 Eggs

2 15oz Cottage Cheese

1 C Parmesan Cheese

2 Tbsp Parsley

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper


Layer 3:

1 lb Itailian Sausage

1/4 C chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 pint tomato sauce

1 pint tomatos, chopped

1 C water

2 Tbsp snipped parsley

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp dried oregano, crushed

1 tsp dried basil

Brown sausage and drain off excess fat.  Saute onion and garlic with sausage until clear.  Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30-40 minutes.


Layer 4:

2 lbs mozzarella cheese


Place 4 noodles in the bottom of a 9x13 pan  Spread 1/3 of each layer evenly.  Then repeat all four layers again, twice.


Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes.  Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
